We are currently recruiting, for the Italian unit of a prestigious global Company, leader in the IT Industry (web search engine, mail provider, web services, hardware products ecc.), based in Milan, a:

Partner Strategy Manager

This role looks after the creation of the Partner Enablement Plan for one of our key solution areas. The candidate will take care of the definition of the content to be used for each training and program in those plans and drive field execution of those plans.
To do this, the candidate will coordinate with multiple area stakeholders with different areas of expertise (business, technical, marketing) to gather all needed information for the skills plan creation.
In addition, the candidate will play a key role on the development of the unmanaged partner space, by driving dedicated activities and having a close relationship with our main distributors, supporting them of the development of their skilling plan for the resellers.
Key responsibilities include:

Plan:
• Define a fiscal year plan answering to different audiences and sales play within the solution area
• Interacting with main Solution Area stakeholder (technical, marketing, business) to define the skilling strategy for each sales play
• Coaching field stakeholders to drive the right activities to the right audience using the correct tools and platforms

Budget Management:
• Manage PO Set-up
• Manage supplier set-up
• Answer all questions from WE HQ purchase desk on past and current POs (investigating with the local team and suppliers to get answers).
• Collect Proof of Execution for invoices
• Approve invoices
• Manage POs – accrue, move end date, close PO line-items

Manage Planned Trainings:
• Go through registration status for all local trainings bi-weekly (report provided by another team) and identify trainings with low registrations
• Cancel or postpone trainings where necessary and within the deadlines – contacting local trainers, catering, event administrators, and the local team.
• Set up pre-defined invites in the training Calendar for local stakeholders to use to promote the training
• Work with local stakeholders to drive registrations to trainings with low attendance – using the training calendar
• Request registration pages
• Book trainer, labs, catering

• Communicate the trainings available
