For our client, a multinational company leader in Automotive sectors, we are searching for a:

Customer Quality Leader.

Reporting to the Customer Quality Manager, he/she will manage a team of Quality Engineers and technicians for a group of Customers. As a Customer Quality Leader, he/she will understand the importance of valuing the customer expectations to have a successful relationship. He/she will enjoy the challenge to team with colleagues from different departments and plants in order to find the best solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be the singleface to the customer for all quality related topics
  • Ensure the achievement of Customer and Internal Quality KPIs (0km ppm, Quality Score and Incidents, Warranty C/1000)
  • Manage the analysis flow for returned parts coordinating a multifunctional team, in order to guarantee an answer to Customer that meets time and contents requirements
  • Respect the non-quality costs target including sorting and reworks activities at Customer sites
  • Company Plant support for Customer Audit/Visit preparation and execution
  • Manage Customer escalations leading Customer/Internal meetings, escalating to relevant level inside the organization when needed, coordinating task forces and improvement plan.
  • Promote preventive quality actions and experience capitalization/cross over inside the company (products/ plats)
  • Warranty management by the negotiation of Warranty Agreement with the Customers
  • Define the Customer communication strategyfor critical quality issues coordinating a multifunction team
  • Understand Customer quality requirementsandcommunicate them internally withinthe organization
  • Ensure punctual quality data reporting

Requirements & Skills:

  • Electronic or Mechanical master’s degree, or equivalent
  • 3 years work experience in Customer Quality or 5 years in Quality in Automotive industry as tier-1 Supplier of OEM
  • Highly familiarity with quality tools (D&P-FMEA, PPAP, APQP) and structured problem solving assets (8D, 5Why 3 legs, 5W1H, Ishikawa)
  • Extensive experience in direct communication with Automotive Customers, taskforce leading and escalation processes management
  • Experienced in negotiation
  • Knowledge of major OEM players and their basic requirements/standards
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems standards (IATF)
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • SPC (capability, MSA) knowledge required
  • Self-motivated, organization talented
  • Clear and effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and in written
  • Withstanding pressure in critical situations
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Flexible, team player
  • Available to travel with short notice
