Employerland of the SGB Group, on behalf of Orient Express La Minerva, a prestigious 5 stars luxury hotel located in the heart of Rome and part of the Arsenale Group, leader in the luxury hospitality and luxury travel industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations to ensure the comfort, satisfaction, and safety of guests while adhering to the hotel's standards of excellence.

The hotel will reopen its doors in October 2024 after a period of renovation.



●       Management of the Housekeeping Team, including recruiting and training of new members.

●       Ensure operational excellence: Develop and implement cleaning procedures, protocols, and standards to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel and monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.

●       Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness and presentation standards and address any issues promptly.

●       Assure guest satisfaction responding promptly and kindly to guest requests, concerns, and feedback, striving to exceed expectations and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion.

●       Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities and address cross-functional needs.


You are the right candidate if you have:

●       Experience in housekeeping management within the luxury hotel industry.

●       Fluency in both Italian and English, an additional language will be considered a plus.

●       Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet operational demands.

●       Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

●       Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

●       Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with housekeeping management software systems.

●       Proactive approach and commitment to excellence.

●       A degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is preferred.

●       Certification in Housekeeping Management or related disciplines will be considered a plus.
