Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer – Emea

For our client, a multinational company leader in global industrial power solutions, we are looking for a:


The candidate will providing the EMEA AC Power Sales Organization with technical informative support, in order to driving the competiveness portfolio and satisfying all the technical queries coming from customer.
He / She will be responsible of following the evolution of selected commercial opportunities in full coordination with the Sales Teams, providing also quotation of customized solutions cooperating with the COE Application Engineering Team and R&D.
Main Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales technical support for the EMEA Sales Organization (relevant for AC Power COE);
• Provide reactive and pro-active technical informative support, remotely and in-person in full coordination with the Sales Organization;
• Prepare technical quotations of the AC Power portfolio for customized features as deemed necessary, acting in cooperation with the COE Application Engineering Team and R&D;
• Act in coordination with the Supply Chain and Production Teams for specific Customer requests which impact the production planning;
• Prepare non-standard technical documentation necessary for selected opportunities, including but not limited to electrical schematic drawings, functional drawings, technical descriptions, layout and feasibility studies etc.;
• Cooperate with the Bid Management Team supporting them with technical conformity analysis to specifications where non-standard or complex requirements are present;
• On-site auditing for technical feasibility evaluation for complex applications.

Skills & Requirements:
• Technical School diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering (electrics or electronics).
• At least 3 years of experience in electronic /electrical/engineering companies in pre-sales, sales and post-sales field or in industrialization or R&D in application engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD and computer literate.
• Fluent English

• Able to prioritize tasks and work against deadlines;
• Availability to travel.
