For an important company in the pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for a resource to be included in the Supply Chain function with the role of Demand Specialist.


responsabilità

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Assure the supply in the market of a part of product portfolio and lead inventory mgmt, ensuring the continuous availability of products to the patients.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

⦁Monthly Brand forecast reviews and timely system updates interacting properly with Regional Hub colleagues.

⦁Interact with Global colleagues updating the team with market insights.

⦁Timely communication of shortages (start-end) and low stock in the market

Market Inventory mangement

⦁Lead monthly reporting process on inventory for full Portfolio

⦁Obsolescence and short dated items analysis 

⦁Slow Moving data definition

Market Supply planning

⦁Interact with regional HUB to ensure adequate optimal stock level at local LSP.

⦁Sales Pace Review

⦁In-Transit shipment monitoring

Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP)

⦁Lead monthly Sales & Operating Plan process with participation from Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and Finance sharing supply chain performances and commercial info/needs.

⦁Ensure a structured S&OP action items follow-up and escalate to regional Hub as required. 

Lifecycle Product management (PCM)

⦁Coordinate Supply Chain activities at market level in case of sourcing change, new product launches, loss of exclusivity, artwork changes.

⦁Liaise with regulatory and commercial ensuring timely product supply aligned with registrations and regulatory changes.

⦁SAP Item Master data maintenance

⦁Inbound product flow: STO/PO/Return/Info record/Transfer Price/Flex-R/Customer-Vendor

⦁Lead XFT for special import/export processes

Qualifications/ Professional Capabilities 

⦁Master’s degree in economics or engineering with focus on Supply Chain

⦁At least 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain role, pharmaceutical background is preferred.

⦁Ability to analyze data and draw down key conclusions and actions.

⦁Attitude to understand complex processes.

⦁Advanced in Excel

⦁Good knowledge of IT applications

⦁Fluent in Italian and English

⦁Ability to manage own time to meet objectives, forecasts and to support the team for projects across the division.
