Employerland of the SGB Group, on behalf of Orient Express La Minerva, a prestigious 5 stars luxury hotel located in the heart of Rome and part of the Arsenale Group, leader in the luxury hospitality and luxury travel industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Room Division Manager to join the dynamic team and contribute to the success of the esteemed hotel.

The hotel will reopen its doors in October 2024 after a period of renovation.


What you will be doing:

●       Overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services departments to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction.

●       Implementing and maintaining efficient check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for guests.

●       Guiding a team of professionals in Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services and conducting regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and elevate service levels.

●       Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and add value to guest experiences.

●       Collaborating with leaders of other departments to enhance communication and collaboration between departments

●       Working closely with Revenue Management and Sales and Marketing teams to develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and packages and adjusting strategies if required in order to maximize revenue

●       Ensuring that all rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation and conducting regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

●       Taking care of guest relation, addressing to their feedback and concerns, developing loyalty programs

●       Collaborating with the General Manager and the Finance Department to develop and manage budgets for the Room Division, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.


You are the ideal candidate if you have:

●       A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

●       Proven experience as a Room Division Manager or in a similar leadership role in a luxury hotel.

●       Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service standards.

●       Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

●       Ability to make strategic decisions, solve problems, and drive results.

●       Fluency in English and Italian Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera Cloud) and Microsoft Office Suite.
