Randstad Technologies – part of Randstad Italy – deals with the search and selection of IT profiles and is looking for an ICT Manufacturing Project Manager for an important client company.

Position summary:

As a Manufacturing, R&D and Quality ICT Project Manager, She/He will be responsible with leading a team of experienced people on the current systems in the areas of Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Quality Management System (QMS), IoT, Performance Tools, Dashboards, and Custom Solutions. She/He will be also responsible for researching and analyzing new technology, software, and methodologies for use in our manufacturing environment, to improve performance, reduce costs, and/or leap-frog our competition. A sense of urgency and ability to work under tight deadlines are critical for success in this role. You need to be self-motivated and driven with a results focus. Travel required, at world ide level will be necessary.

Primary responsibilities:

•Lead team of experienced people to research new digital manufacturing, R&D and Quality solutions

•Design & build systems for all areas in scope, also scouting new solution on the market looking to best of breed platform , databases (including Data Lake), models, dashboards, other analytical and operative systems and tools.

•Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and formulate conclusions and recommendations to be presented to senior leadership while having the ability to step back and understand the broader context.

•Assist functions/manufacturing groups in finding opportunities, collecting, analyzing business requirements and performing data analysis to address business needs.

•Recognize, adopt, and standardize best practices for : System robustness, test designs, analysis, validation, pilot and rollout. Apply lean and continuous improvement methodologies to further enhance solutions once implemented.

•Clearly communicate both orally and in writing, business/technology concepts across all levels of organization.

•Review feasibility studies and ensure alignment with strategies and business needs.

•Understand a broad range of technology resources and know how, when, which to use and not use, and why.

Functional and Technical Skills:

•Must have hands-one experience in a related function in manufacturing/operations

•Wide technical know of software, devices, techniques used in manufacturing

•Attention to detail, data organization and analysis

•Very strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills

Project management skills in a factory environment

•Ability to address objections and overcome obstacles in a productive and supportive manner;

•Deliver targeted results within well-established deadlines

Requirements and minimum education level:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred. Relevant experience considered.

Experience:

•3+ years of supervision preferred.

•3+ years in innovation, design, development, or software development, required.

•3+ years proven experience in continuous improvement in operations/manufacturing, required.

•3+ years with industrial control systems (basic level) required.

•3+ years with various manufacturing, R&D and quality systems preferred. (MES, SAP, PLM, QMS, etc.)

•Experience in manufacturing industry preferred in International and multicultural context.
