Supply Chain Manager EMEA


Based on our Italian Operation Facility in Milan area, the Supply Chain Manager is the regional leader for E2E services that include delivery, stock and return logistics management, responsible for all aspects of physical operations, products customization, cost and team leadership within the region. The role is responsible for managing multiple delivery locations within a region to achieve the volume, quality, and cost goals defined in the Master Operational Plan.


The Supply Chain Manager will lead a team of Operations, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure that performance objectives are met and building positive employee relations and build strength support for sales organization and market. The candidate will continuously improve the efficiency of Supply Chain processes and best-practice sharing in all country of the region.


Manages day-to-day relationships with Group and multiple Delivery Service Providers and monitors delivery & cost.


Establishing a global supply chain supply chain network that will ensure a controlled and optimized flow of inventory while meeting company objectives for product cost, inventory turns, on-time delivery and product quality.


Implementing inventory control processes ensuring the optimization of on-hand inventory and the development of cycle count and supplier demand pull programs for spare parts.


Continuous process improvement to achieve process standardization, policies and procedure development and progressive information system utilization.


Management of logistics network ensuring cost effective and efficient modes of storage and transportation of product.


Managing and driving the manpower demand plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives and assist the business to achieve year on year improvements within its operating plan.


Working with key business partners such as Group Demand for planning and Transport, Finance, IT, Sales and Engineering to deliver the operating plan and to secure required support and resources for projects and initiatives.



Required profile:


10 years plus in the distribution (manufacturing, production or distribution environments) industry, ideally 5 of which would have been at a senior level role managing multi-site locations.


Goal driven, target orientated, demonstrate strong team leadership within a large scale rapid and process driven environment – must have end to end process management experience.
